Our Mission

Blue Barn promotes kindness, compassion and empathy by connecting humans of all ages with farm animals rescued from a life of abuse, neglect and abandonment.

Our Vision

Our vision is to teach young people from local schools, clubs and treatment programs by doing outreach; offering virtual and in person humane education, and having guests out for tours at the Blue Barn.

Humane education

Humane education nurtures compassion and respect for living beings. It encourages us to look at the inter-connected nature of human beings, animals and the environment, and use critical thinking when looking at the issues that confront our world today.

The Golden Girls

Found on the side of the road in a cage, The Golden Girls were taken in by a kind individual who wanted to do right by Mama Sofia and her babies. After receiving medical care and being spayed, these little ladies were given the opportunity to live their life TOGETHER at the Blue Barn.
